Zasady recenzowania/review

  1. The editorial secretary (or an authorized member of the editorial team) checks whether the text meets all technical standards and fits substantially in the journal’s profile. Then the article is submitted to the editorial board and qualified or not for the review procedure.
  2. The author or authors and reviewers do not know their identity (the so-called „double-blind review process”). Otherwise, the reviewer must sign a declaration that there is no conflict of interest, so there are no direct personal relationships between the reviewer and the author: 1) direct personal relationships (kinship, legal ties, conflict); 2) relationships of professional subordination; direct scientific cooperation in the last two years preceding the preparation of the review.
  3. The review is in writing, is made on the basis of a detailed review form (download the file) and ends with a clear conclusion that the article is approved for publication (without the need to introduce any corrections or after the author accepts them) or with its rejection.
  4. When evaluating the article, reviewers pay attention to such issues as: 1) Originality: is the article an important and innovative contribution to its field of research? Does it present new discoveries and / or interpretations, methods and theories? 2) Method: is the method used adequate and well applied to the subject of the article ?; 3) Objectives and theses of the article: have the goals, theses / hypotheses been defined clearly and precisely in the article? 4) Relevance: is the article relevant to research in your field? 5) Language and style: are the language level and style of the article appropriate?
  5. The names of the reviewers of individual issues can be found on the editorial site.
